Attorney Charles Jones has dedicated years to excelling in the legal profession. At North Carolina State University, he was appointed a judge on the Parking Appeals Hearing Board, and chosen by the Chancellor to serve on the University's Standing Committee on the Evaluation of Teaching. He earned a scholarship to the University of Georgia School of Law, and opened his own law practice after graduation. In early 2009 he argued a Constitutional case before the Georgia Supreme Court, involving interpretation of the free speech clause of the state Constitution.
Charles is committed to being a leader not only in the legal community but also the greater community at large. He was elected President of Athens Area chapter of Georgia Right to Life, and is frequently invited to teach religious education for adults in his Church. Charles is currently active in Soldiers' Angels, which sends comfort packages to our deployed heroes.
